I've been obsessed with The Beatles since their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. After their ground-breaking performance, I knew, right then & there, I wanted to be a musician.

My father lent me the money for my first Hofner bass when I was 13, and I worked summers as a golf caddy to pay him back. As young musicians, my friends & I played at any opportunity and I've been in bands ever since.

As fate would have it, I auditioned for the Broadway show,  BEATLEMANIA!,  and landed the part of "Paul" at the Winter Garden Theatre.  I spent years on Broadway and on the national and international tours, traveling throughout North & South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Japan.

After BEATLEMANA! ended it's run, I formed The Cast of Beatlemania, with former cast members, and to this day it's one of the best known and fully-live Beatle acts working today.

And because I still can't get of enough of McCartney bass after more than 30 years of playing "Paul", I've also formed an "all-McCartney" theatrical show, The Most Excellent Order of Sir Paul. 

Paul McCartney has been my musical hero.

Over the years, I've been fortunate to earn my living as a working musician and playing the music I love best, as well as teaching workshops and now authoring a book.

Now you're probably here because you share my passion for The Beatles and the bass.

I often get questions from people all over the world about McCartney bass techniques, strings, rigs, and even engage in occasional debates with fellow nerds about the intricacies of Paul's massive catalog of compositions.
